About the Job Role
Job Title: HR Administrator
Contract Type: Part-time/Permanent
Hours of Work: 3 days week
Salary: Negotiable and depending on experience
Job Location: HR Team, Catalyst Inc., Bay Road, Derry~Londonderry
As a HR Administrator, you will be required to provide an administration service to HR Team clients ensuring that the team is efficient in servicing its growing client base. There will be a high emphasis on client satisfaction as this is at the forefront of what we do.
Your expertise in the following areas will be required:
• Answering all incoming calls to the HR Team office in a professional way
• Devising employment-related documents such as letters, policies, procedures
• Administering contracts of employment and employee handbooks in line with the relevant employment legislation in that jurisdiction
• Conducting research into updates on employment legislation
• Conducting HR-related administration tasks
• Organisation of training workshops and webinars for client base
• Co-ordination of training and workshops and webinars on the day
• Be client facing where appropriate
• Always representing HR Team in the most professional and positive way
• Maintaining a good rapport with all HR Team clients
• Ensuring that a strong commercial understanding is always demonstrated to our clients.
Essential Criteria:
• A HR qualification or working towards
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a HR administration or HR assistant role
• A strong understanding of employment law and HR
• Experience of administering various employee relations procedures such as grievance, disciplinary, dignity at work, absence and redundancy.
• Excellent communication and client satisfaction skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Strong organisational and team working skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to pay attention to detail.
Desirable Criteria:
• Membership of CIPD
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in working with all parts of HR / Employee life cycle.
