A Donegal Bed and Breakfast which was hit by last year’s torrential flood received a huge boost after golfer Rory McIlroy stayed there for the Irish Open.
Riversdale luxury B&B outside Carndonagh played host to Rory and his staff during the amazing event at Ballyliffin last week.
The six-bedroomed house is owned by Sharon and Wilson Moore.
It was a finalist in the 2017 Irish Bed and Breakfast fo the Year Awards.
As well as having stunning accommodation, Riversdale also boats a working farm with lots of animals.
However, the couple’s Bernese Mountain dog, Jessie, was understood to be a particularly big hit with the McIlroys.
