The Finn Harps U17s progressed to the quarter finals of the Mark Farren Cup after defeating Sligo Rovers 4-3 last night.

Declan Boyle’s Harps went in 1-1 at the break after Carndonagh’s Luke Rudden had given them the lead at the New Camp Complex in Killygordon.

The visitors went ahead before captain Darragh Ellison made it 2-2, scoring at the second attempt after his penalty was saved.

Carrigart lad Ronan Gallagher put Harps in front and Gabby Aduaka made it 4-2.

Sligo pulled a goal back in time added on but it was too late for the visitors to secure a share of the spoils.
