Prince Harry and Meghan Markle caught up with Donegal football royalty today when they met Tir Chonaill captain Michael Murphy at Croke Park.
The Royal couple are on a two-day visit to Dublin, their first overseas trip since getting married in May, and were at GAA headquarters this morning.
Murphy was joined by Galway’s Joe Canning, Dublin’s Lyndsey Davey and Cork’s Rena Buckley for the occasion.
Prince Harry and Meghan were given a tour of Croke Park, including the GAA museum.
They were then treated to displays of hurling, football and rounders.
“It’s a great symbol of how far our game is moving on here in Ireland,” Glenswilly ace Murphy said.
“They were lovely. It’s just brilliant to have them here. I think they were amazed by the stadium and the sheer modern size of it.”
