Funeral of tragic motorcyclist Eddie to take place this Monday

The funeral of much-loved Inishowen man Eddie McIntyre will take on Monday.

Mr McIntyre, who owned the 19th Hole bar at Bridgend, was tragically killed while riding his motorbike at Fahan on Wednesday evening last.

His remains will be reposing at the family home from 11am today at Craigtown, Fahan.

His funeral takes place on Monday morning 9th July at 10.15am going to St Mura’s church, Fahan for Requiem Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Tributes have flowed in for Mr McInytre who was described as much-loved member of the local community.

He was the sixth person to die on Donegal’s roads so far this year.
