Students and staff of Coláiste Ailigh celebrated the end of the school year in May with a special prizegiving event to honour a diverse range of achievements.
The event was held with special guests and students to reflect on the year and honour students’ hard work in all aspects of school life.
Guests including Paul Hannigan, President of the LYIT, Meabh Uí Chonacháin, chairperson of the Parents Association and Caoimhe Ní Chathail, past pupil and Irish media star.
Awards for success in education, music, sport and more were presented to selected students. See the gallery from the day below:

Príomhoide Choláiste Ailigh , Micheál Ó Giobúin presents Cáit Ní Mhordha with the best results in the 2017 Leaving Certificate award. Cáit achieved an amazing 625 points which included the highest mark in the country in Design and Communication graphics. Also in picture is her DCG teacher, Seosamh Mac Ceallabhuí.

Irish school’s International rugby player, Conchur Mac Meanman was awarded Coláiste Ailigh’s sports boy of the year.
