Sean Mc Cumhaills 2-13 V 1-11 Realt Na Mara . Early points by Gary Claney and Michael Mc Eniff got the visitors off to a good start in this top of the table Division clash. Barney Lafferty got the home side on the board in the 9th minute and a minute later after taking a pass from Steven O Reilly he set up Aaron Kelly for a great goal chance but Kelly pulled his shot wide with the goal at his mercy. Bundoran responded well with a good score from Johnny Boyle and then a sweeping move from defence ended with Tommy Hourihane setting up Michael Mc Eniff who palmed the ball to the net to make it 1-03 to 0-01 for the visitors. Only an excellent save by Eoin Gallen denied Johnny Boyle a second Bundoran goal a minute later before Darren O Leary and Gary Clancy exchanged points from play to leave it 1-04 to 0-02 after 16 minutes. It was ten minutes before the next score , then we had five in five minutes. Hourihane and Shane Mc Gowan hit two crackers for Bundoran, Stephen Mulligan replied for Mc Cumhaills but Hourihane kicked a free before Darren O Leary ended the first-half scoring with another good point from play to end the first-half scoring with Bundoran six ahead and the home team with it all to do. Johnny Boyle made it a seven point game in the first minute of the second-half but Stephen Mulligan’s free replied for home team. Clancy made it 1-09 to 0-05 with a super score from play but the home then produced their best spell of the game with four points in five minutes. O’Leary with a free , then Lafferty and O’Leary from play and then Mulligan with another free left just the goal in it at 1-09 to 0-09 and game on. Another Mulligan free and then an excellent Gavin Gallagher point from play left the minimum between them, 1-09 to 0-11 points with fifteen minutes to play and anyone’s game. Tommy Hourihane got Bundoran’s first score for 24 minutes with a free to restore their lead but a minute later the home side took the lead for the first time in the game when sub Chad Mc Sorley’s long ball in was flicked to the net by Darren O Leary to make it 1-12 to 1-10 . Hourihane’s free left a point in it again in injury-time but Gavin Gallagher’s super point and then a cracking finish by Darren O Leary after he was sent clear made the final score 2-13 to 1-11 and completed a super comeback by the table toppers Mc Cumhaills.
