FINN HARPS UNDER 19’s V BOHEMIANS UNDER 19’s. After an evenly contested opening thirteen minutes the visitors took the lead. Harps had just created a good opening at the other end when a quick taken throw-in provided a chance for Lee Walsh but his effort was well saved by keeper Sean Bohan. Bohemians broke out from defence and a good build-up ended with an excellent finish by Christan Magrusan who’s first touch was perfect and his finish even better as he blasted the ball past Jamie Bell. Harps responded well to this early setback with plenty of possession but without really creating any clear-cut chances against a solid visitors defence. Bohs looked dangerous when breaking out with plenty of pace in their midfield and up front but after that early confession Harps also defended well. In the 41th minute it should have been 0-2. Again Bohs broke from defence , Dylan Thornton played a super through ball to send Ryan Graydon in the clear but the striker to shot early and Jamie Bell denied him with a super save low to his right , perhaps Graydon will feel he should have taken a least one more touch before shooting , he didn’t and it was a big let-off for Harps. At half-time it remained 0-1 to the Dublin lads , leaving Harps with work to do in the second-half. Charlie Collins reports from Finn Park.
