Some star-quality bands have been secured for the first SULT festival in Gweedore, which is expected to attract large crowds next week.
The non-profit, community-led festival will feature some top bands and DJs from Friday 6th July to Saturday 7th July 2018.
The Sult Music Festival line-up includes several acts with strong local links. Nikki Hayes and Control Freakz, Timmy Gibson, Lorcan Doherty and Christian McDaid are kicking things off on the Friday night disco.
Keywest, Ryan Sheridan, Oh Bryan, Static Union, Fast as Folk and Hazy and Blue will provide the entertainment on Saturday.
The event was the brainwave of locals who wanted to revive the spirit of the community and build on the success of the Loineog Lunasa in August.
Now, rock and pop fans have an amazing weekend to look forward to at very affordable ticket prices.
Friday night (10pm till late) is €10, Saturday (4pm till late) is €25 and a Weekend Pass is only €30. Get yours now at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/sult-2018-tickets-47446647199?aff=es2
SULT will be an annual event, organisers said. “The area has been hit hard with hotel closures in recent years and we are glad to help in reversing the fortunes of the locale in a small way by providing such a high-quality line up of bands and DJ’s on the weekend,” said a spokesperson.
There is limited capacity for the festival, so it is advised to not leave it too late to get your ticket. Be sure to grab your tickets at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/sult-2018-tickets-4744664719…
