Fire-fighters tackle major gorse-fire on outskirts of Glenties

Several units of the fire service are battling a large gorse fire in Glenties this afternoon.

The blaze is sweeping through a plantation at The Glen of Glenties.

Fire tenders from Glenties and Killybegs are currently battling the gorse fire which started a couple of hours ago.

There are no reported injuries as a result of the blaze.
