The Kilmacrennan Men’s Shed group are calling on the county to support them in a competition and help them win a €500 prize.
The group have been listed as finalists in the Topline Shed Series contest, where the picture with the most Facebook votes wins a People’s Choice Award and €500.
Kilmacrennan Men’s Shed are the only shed representing Co. Donegal and the northwest. Their picture entry, painted by founder member Jim Doherty, depicts the importance of the facility has to the ‘Shedders’ and to the community.
The local shedders have illustrated how the group helps Vincent De Paul and the local community hall with fundraising, and how their projects support friendship, involvement, community based projects and learning.
The photo with the most likes on Facebook wins the Topline prize, so the Shedders of Kilmacrennan are asking everyone to give the below entry a thumbs up before the closing date at 1pm on Tuesday, June 12th.
