Yet another weekend of glorious sunshine is expected to hit the shores of Donegal this weekend with highs of 24 degrees forecasted for the next three days.
For the past few weeks now the weather all across the country has been brilliant giving Ireland one of its hottest spells for years. This looks set to continue over the weekend but we could see the odd thundery shower on Friday.
Met Éireann have issued a yellow warning for parts of the country regarding these showers.
Thundery Rainfall Warning Issued
Status: Yellow
Location: All areas bar the east and south east
Valid: Fri midday to Fri 11pm

For Saturday and Sunday it’s looking likely that we will be without showers for the most parts. Those going to the Donegal game are advised to take sun cream as well as plenty of water.
Most of Clones is an open stadium therefore there’s little chance to find shelter. Championship days at the home of Ulster football can be extremely hot so be sure to have planned a cooler bag with the required products to ensure no chance of getting sun burnt.
Unfortunately for those who suffer from hay fever the weekend is not looking quite so positive. Temperatures soaring in summer usually means that pollen levels rise massively and that will be no different over the next few days.

There is a light breeze expected across the county this weekend too so those who have been struggling with the heat over the past few weeks will be relieved to have the chance to relax a little more.
The beaches of Donegal have been packed over the past few weekends and loads of people have been enjoying barbecues. It looks very likely that this weekend will give an opportunity for much of the same.
