Temperatures are set to rise again this weekend with a humid few days in store for Donegal.
As per usual there will be the odd scattered shower so don’t expect a full day of sun. In fact for spells it will be very overcast but will remain hot so ensure to still apply sun-cream.
Thundery showers have been forecast for both Saturday and Sunday evening in Donegal but Met Éireann have suggested that they could pass over. Mist and fog can be expected but it is likely to stay mainly dry over the course of both of those days.
Friday could well be the worst day of the weekend and Met Éireann have suggested that we could see a big fall of rain from 6 o’clock onward.

Friday will still be a very hot day tough with temperatures ranging from 19 to 23 Celsius. A drop in heat will occur on the Saturday with a high of 19 Celsius expected and it is looking likely that the showers through the day will remain few and far between.
Unlike the Donegal weather we are used to a calm weekend is predicted with wind speeds staying very low. For hay-fever sufferers there is bad news though as pollen levels are likely to stay quite high over the coming days.
Pollen forecast: High countrywide for today Thursday, and high countrywide for tomorrow Friday.

On Sunday temperatures could rise once again back up to the lower 20’s but Monday could see things become even hotter with forecasters hoping to see from the mid 20’s upward.
As it’s a bank holiday weekend, the opportunity will surely arise to take a stroll to the beach and relax in the warm weather from Saturday on.
