Primary and secondary school students from two Donegal schools enjoyed a fun day out at the Gael Linn awards last week.
Pupils of Scoil Náisiúnta Árainn Mhóir and Coláiste Ailigh Letterkenny attended the Gaelbhratach presentation in recognition of their efforts in promoting the Irish language.
Hosted by Donegal TV star Micheál Ó Ciaraidh and his co-presenter Gráinne Bleasdale, the day had a fantastic atmosphere and the delight of the students, and indeed their teachers, in being recognised for their work was palpable. Adding to their enjoyment was the performance of the group Seo Linn who had the students dancing and singing along to their many hits ‘as Gaeilge’ throughout the event.
TG4’s Molscéal were there to capture the craic at the Pavilion at Leopardstown racecourse in Dublin on Tuesday 22 May. Watch the video below to catch an interview with students from Scoil Náisiúnta Árainn Mhóir.
