Donegal anti-abortion campaigner Tim Jackson attempted to disrupt a pro-choice event today, only to be drowned out by a clapping crowd.
The Ballybofey man gained entry to a Women’s Health in Ireland press conference for ‘Yes’, which was attended by cross-party politicians in favour of a Repeal of the 8th Amendment.

The former Youth Defence activist shouted out questions at the end of the photocall, asking Minister Harris to resign. He also aimed questions at Minister for Children Katherine Zappone.
“Are you in favour of killing innocent human beings?” he asked.
Jackson was asked to leave the room, but when he continued shouting, an official prompted a round of applause for the Minister.
Jackson called out: “Can we continue to clap for the killing of Irish children?” and “Anyone want to vote for a politician’s right to life?”
The former Independent election candidate had previously conducted a 10-day hunger strike in September 2017 in opposition to the abortion referendum. Jackson stood outside Dail Eireann in a bid to force the Oireachtas Committee on the 8th amendment to watch a video of a termination.
