DONEGAL is set to bask in at least FIVE DAYS of glorious sunshine – with temperatures in the 20s.
Monday is set to be miserable with loads of rain, and temperatures struggling to reach 12C.
But things will get better from Tuesday before glorious sunny weather from Wednesday until at least Sunday.
BBC NI weather forecaster Geoff Maskell warned that Monday will be horrible.
However he said the cloud will soon lift on Tuesday with warm sunshine by the afternoon with temperatures set to top 16C.
A high pressure system will then settle over Ulster “with temperatures rising very nicely indeed” for the rest of the week with 20, 21 or even 22C possible.
Met Eireann said: “Current indications are that it will be quite warm and mostly dry, with sunny intervals and just a few scattered showers. Daytime temperatures will reach the low 20s in many areas, but it will be cooler on coasts, with sea breezes.”
