Michael Murphy captained Donegal for the 40th time on Sunday and what a performance it was from the Glenswilly man.
Lining out with number 14 on his back, Murphy covered every inch of grass of the MacCumhaill Park pitch. He finished the day with a personal tally of six points and played a pivotal role in driving Donegal forward.
At 28 years-old Murphy is coming into the peak of his career and is looking forward to the championship ahead.
“We always know that the standard of player we have is very good and we have to keep pushing that forward,” Murphy said.
