Larissa Muldoon and Conor McMenamin picked up awards at the Heineken Ulster Rugby Awards Dinner, which took place at La Mon Hotel & Country Club last night.
Muldoon, from Cappry in Ballybofey, was named as the Deliotte Women’s Player of the Year. Muldoon plays for Railway Union and had been rewarded for another stellar campaign.
While she didn’t feature this year in the Women’s Six Nations, Muldoon has featured regularly for Ireland in recent years.
Letterkenny Rugby Club’s McMenamin was named as Ulster Carpets Youth Player of the Year.
McMenamin played for the Under-18 Ireland Schools team this year and the Coláiste Ailigh student has been making real waves in the sport.
