Two recent Letterkenny Institute of Technology Student Union events have raised a grand total of  €1,045.00 for two worthy charities.

All proceeds from the Student Achievement Awards and the SU Formal Ball were split evenly between Donegal Down Syndrome and Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin. Each charity received a total of €522.50.

Pictured above is little Elsa Rodgers with Maureen Jordan receiving a cheque for Donegal Down Syndrome from Paddy Gallagher; LYIT Sports Officer, Daniel Gallagher; LYIT SU Ents. Officer and Josephine Wilson; LYIT Student Union Administrator.

Letterkenny Institute of Technology Student Union would like to thank the students and staff members who contributed in any way, at either of the events, for these two very worthy charities.
