Junior Russell has backed Glencar Celtic to bounce back from Saturday’s defeat to title rivals Strand Rovers.
Strand’s 3-2 win brought them level with Glencar heading into the last game of the season this weekend.
Victory for both teams this Saturday will send the title race to a play-off.
Russell says his men will respond.
“We’re hurting,” Russell admitted.
“It’s a silent dressing room in there, but we’ll live to fight another day.
“It was tough out there. They put it up to us from the first whistle. We’ll learn from it. We didn’t play well at all – but it’s not over yet. We’ll have a big say in this year.
“We kept plugging away. Strand wanted it more. That’s the worst we’ve played and the boys will be hurting. We’ll just look after ourselves now.”
