A superb Patrick McBrearty point from 40 metres out in added time rescued a point for Kilcar in an entertaining draw in Towney against Milford today.

In fact McBrearty had a chance to win the match but his long range shot went just wide in the last action of the match.
Playing with a stiff breeze Milford led 0-10 to 0-08 at half time with six of them from the impressive Cathal McGettigan, Christopher Barrett hit two with Kane Barrett and Paddy Peoples getting one each.
Two points from Paddy and Stephen McBrearty and Matthew McClean and points from Mark Sweeney and Andrew McClean kept the home side in touch who trailed 0-06 to 0-02 at one stage, the visitors could have been further in front only for a great goal line clearance by Gary Molloy in the last minute of the half.
Kilcar came out much after improved second half hitting three points in a row from Mark Sweeney, Eoin McHugh and Paddy McBrearty to go into the lead for the first time but they failed to capitalize on there possession hitting a number of wides.
Milford then hit four points in a row in 10 minutes to go three points up with five to play. They still lead by two points heading into the closing minutes before a free from Patrick McBrearty and his superb equalizer secured a share of the spoils.
