Rachael Darragh has booked her place in the last 32 of the women’s singles badminton at the Commonwealth Games.
This morning, the Raphoe woman defeated Stella Ngadjui from Cameroon in straight sets.
Darragh took just 19 minutes to put the game to bed, winning 21-6 21-3 at the Carrara Sports Arena.
Tomorrow, Darragh will face Soniia Cheah from Malaysia in the last 32, while she plays a women’s doubles game against Jersey later this morning.
