Inishowen League face Kilkenny in an Oscar Traynor Trophy quarter-final tomorrow – and Diarmuid O’Brien says his men aren’t in the Marble City for sightseeing.
Inishowen, beaten finalists in the competition last season, have become perennial challengers and O’Brien is confident as they make the long journey ahead of tomorrow’s clash at the Kells Road (12 noon).
“We’re going down to win the game,” O’Brien said.
“We’re hoping that we can go and put in a performance.
“We turned in two good performances against Donegal. We went to Maynooth to play the Defence Forces and we’re looking to carry that into the game on Sunday.
“We’ve changed the system and the idea was to get more support to the centre forwards.”
