Letterkenny Rovers U15s won a tense penalty shoot-out to make it through to the last four of the SFAI National Cup.

Rovers were up against Dublin side Crumlin at Leckview Park today.

The sides couldn’t be separated after extra-time after the game ended 0-0 after full-time and extra-time and went to penalties.

James Bonner and Rory McMorrow’s lads finally came out 5-4 following a nail-biting shoot-out played in freezing conditions.

The victory is even more rewarding for the Letterkenny club considering they lost key players to Finn Harps and Derry City in recent weeks.
