A man who wants to be a mechanic was given a final chance by a Judge after being found guilty of doing ‘donuts’ in front of children.
Reece Maguire, appeared before Letterkenny District Court charged with dangerous driving at Chapel Street, Stranorlar on May 8th, 2017.
An off-duty Garda spotted Maguire, 21, doing ‘donuts and fishtailing’ in his brother’s car.
Inspector Barry Doyle told the court that it was 2pm in the afternoon and there were children watching.
Defending solicitor Kieran Dillon said the incident was all over very quickly.
He added that his client wanted to train as a mechanic and travel to Australia.
Judge Paul Kelly fined Maguire, of Hilltop Crescent, Stranorlar, €250 and warned he would put him off the road if convicted again.
