Donegal County Council is to send out its team of gritters in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
All major routes across the county are to be gritted from 6am (Sunday) in response to dropping temperatures.
The routes are all major routes from Bundoran to Buncrana.
The Met Eireann forecast reads “Tonight will be mainly dry with clear spells, however a few showers will develop in the south and southwest overnight.
“Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees with a slight ground frost developing. Mist will thicken into fog and become dense in places by morning with slack winds.”
