Donegal’s GAA clubs have voted to retain the existing All-County Football League.
At tonight’s meeting of the Donegal County Committee, the master fixture list for 2018 was approved.
There will be six ‘star’ fixtures this year, but the League will be run with a difference this year; once the ‘star’ fixtures are used, the League will continue uninterrupted.
The plan sees the League beginning on March 30 and going through to September 1.
There will be two rounds of games on the first weekend of action with games to be played on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
The Donegal Club Championships will be played through the months of September and October.
Clubs met last week with the Competitions Controls Committee (CCC) to discuss options for the All-County Leagues.
The existing League structure will remain in place.
