A TY Mini Company from Loreto Letterkenny has come up with a smart solution to a common beauty problem faced by everyone who uses false tan.
Back2Tan was set up by four young entrepreneurs to launch a back tanning product using a wooden rod and removable mitt. The product will come in very handy for anyone who struggles with tanning all areas of their back on their own.
Back2Tan company founders are Éabha Shiel, the Managing Director, Zoe Brady, the Finance Manager, Kelley Higgins, the Marketing and Sales Manager and Alisha O’Connell, the Production and Quality Control Manager.
The product sets itself apart from the rest due to its competitive price, at just €6, reusability and high quality. Business principles of market research and innovative design were clearly used to create the perfect product.
The company founders said: “You know that moment when you’re at home tanning and realise that there’s no one home to tan your back? Well you won’t have to worry about that anymore. The Ultimate Back Tanner will help you tan all the hard to reach places on your back.
“Our company Back2Tan has come up with a product that lets someone fake tan their back easily and efficiently. After many changes in design we finally came up with our finished product. Our product is a wooden rod with a removable tanning mitt on top for washing. The tanning mitt has a sponge filling so it is comfortable on your back.”
G&G owner Aoibheann Walsh MUA officially launched Back2Tan on Monday the 26th of February at Loreto Letterkenny. Speaking at the event, Aoibheann commented on the affordability and long-lasting quality of the product, saying the girls are a credit to their school, fellow students and parents.
Friends, family and teachers came along to celebrate the occasion and build excitement for the launch locally.
Back2Tan tanners are available to purchase from McFadden’s Pharmacy in the Letterkenny Shopping Centre, Magees Pharmacy, Ruth’s Pharmacy and in Sculpt Cosmetics.
