A Garda investigation has been launched after a raid on Lettermacaward post office.
Raiders broke into the premises just after 2am and stole a quantity of cash and cigarettes.
The post office also contains a shop which is known locally as Clerkins.
Gardai believe two raiders, wearing dark clothing with their faces covered, were behind the raid.
Gardai in Milford have appealed to anybody who may know anything about the raid to contact them.
