Maxi Curran was delighted to see the Donegal ladies’ forward division fire on all cylinders in a rout of Westmeath yesterday in Derrylin.
Yvonne McMonagle hit 3-6 as Donegal won 9-17 to 1-5, a 36-point winning margin, to get their first win of 2018.
“We’re very happy to get the points on board,” Curran said.
“We were staring down the way rather than up.
“We didn’t click in the last couple, but the forwards had fluency there. The scoreline flattered us, but we’re happy with the forwards.”
