There was a truncated programme of games in the Donegal Saturday League this weekend – here’s how the games panned out.

In the 5th minute a Sean Gallagher free kick was saved by Kenan Gibson from 25 yards. In the 13th minute Reece Shortt was played through for a one on one with the keeper but his shot went over the bar.
In the 17th minute Shane McIntyre received the ball, cut inside on his left, but narrowly shot over the bar.
In the 19 minute Reece Shortt ran through onto long ball from the back and finished well into the Kildrum net. In the 22nd minute a Christopher Cronin shot from a bad clearance by the Lagan defence went wide of the left post.
Christopher Cronin shot again in the 28th minute but it was well saved by John Cunningham.
On 55 minutes Darren McCarron scored from a penalty given for handball.
On 62 minutes the Lagan keeper made another good save from a Darren Mc Carron shot. In the 63rd minute Emmett Lynch headed just over from a corner. In the 82nd minute Emmett Lynch volleyed home after a great delivery from Jordan Boyce.
On 87 minutes Lagan equalised when a poor clearance fell to Iarlaith McGinley who finished well into the top corner.
Best for Kildrum was Ryan Higgins. Best for Lagan was Dean Murray.
Drumbar F.C.4 Raphoe Town Reserves 4
David Giblin’s free kick practice session ahead of the game paid off in the opening minutes forcing a save by the Raphoe net minder, Caolan Loughney calmly slotted home the rebound.
It didn’t take Raphoe long to level the game, Paddy Gallagher’s strike from outside the box gave the home custodian no chance. David Giblin hit another free, this time the upright kept the ball out.
Caolan Loughney then found his range from the edge of the box and at his second attempt he made space for himself to shoot to the bottom right corner to re-establish Drumbar’s advantage.
Within minutes Raphoe were back on level terms, Caolan Mc Monagle managed to block the goalkeeper as he launched a clearance, he was seeing stars as his teammates celebrated the ball ricochet back into the Drumbar net. 2-2 on the half hour and many fans were afraid to leave their seats for fear of missing out on any action.
The crowd weren’t in agreement with the man in Black as he judge Rahman Balogun to be off-side twice when he found himself in one on one situations.
The visitors had another goal in them ahead of the break, a strong run down the right wing resulting in a cross to the back post for DJ Kelly to finish into the net. Owen Harron began to pull a few strings in the second half for the home side.
A through ball was smashed at goals by Gavin Bennett but fortunately for Drumbar a remarkable save landed at the feet of Rahman Balogun who finished well.
He added another excellent strike from the edge of the box in the 70th minute.
Within two minutes a mix-up at the back saw the Drumbar defence gift another goal Raphoe.
Daniel Martin made himself known when he bounced off the bench and added to the mounting pressure from the home side. Despite several opportunities created in the final minutes neither side could fine a winner.
Fintown Harps AFC 5 Drumkeen United Reserves 2
On a cold day Fintown Harps welcomed Drumkeen to Park Achla. Fintown started sharp and on 5 minutes Eunan Doherty finished off a well worked move. Ten minutes later Jason Campbell added a second.
Drumkeen pushed hard for their first but the Fintown defence held tight. In second half Oran Doherty again scored inside 5 minutes. Drumkeen responded straight away with a converted penalty and five minutes after that they made it 3-2.
Fintown through Shan Mc Millan added another with John Molloy scoring with a well-directed header to complete the scoring.
