Letterkenny University Hospital was Ireland’s most overcrowd hospital with a staggering 56 people waiting on a bed this morning.
43 of those are on trolleys with a further 13 in wards awaiting admission to hospital beds.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) figures this morning show that 457 people across the country were waiting in hospitals.
Today’s figure of 56 is a record high number of people waiting on a bed at LUH.
