New bottle banks are to be installed at the Craoibhin Community Enterprise Centre in Termon.
At this week’s meeting of the Letterkenny Municipal District, Councillor Michael McBride proposed that bottle banks be provided at the location.
“There are bottle banks in Kilmacrennan and they are used quite a lot,” Councillor McBride said.
“There is a lot of activity around the Craoibhin and would be a good location.”
His motion was seconded by Councillor Ciaran Brogan.
The Council says they will carry out a risk assessment to determine if the site is suitable as a location.
