Ballybofey’s Laura Feely came on as a late replacement at Donnybrook, where Ireland’s women defeated Italy 21-8.
Feely, who plays for Galwegians and Connacht, made her competitive debut for Ireland in last weekend’s defeat by France.
Feely was introduced today for Lindsay Peat in the 79th minute.
Ciara Griffin, the Ireland captain, scored two tries in the second half as they recorded a first win under Adam Griggs.
Megan Williams also got over the line for Ireland and all three tries were converted by Niamh Briggs.
