Johnston Mooney & O’Brien have made an urgent product recall today of all bread products with a Best Before Date 11th February 2018.
The company made the recall as a precautionary measure after discovering a potential risk of some items containing small pieces of metal.
The recall affects all loaves of bread – no bun or roll products are included in the recall.
Customers are being urged to check dates on their products and to return them if they have a Best Before Date 11th February 2018.
Johnston Mooney & O’Brien say that any potentially affected packs have been removed from the supermarket shelves and any that were in the distribution system have been recalled.
Customers with affected products are asked to return the product to their local retailer for a refund. Or they can send the empty packaging with their name and address for a full refund to: Johnston Mooney & O’Brien 11 Jamestown Road, Finglas, Dublin 11.
The company apologised for any inconvenience caused by this recall.
