Walkers urged to keep lookout for missing man

A Donegal county councillor has appealed to beach-walkers to assist to assist for a missing man.

The man went missing in Sligo on December 29th last.

Now councillor Niamh McGilloway Kennedy has asked people out walking beaches at the weekend to help keep remain vigilant.

She posted on Facebook “Ok all you good people who walk our beaches, from MalinBeag, Glencolmcille to Teelin Bay, Kilcar, Muckross to Fintra Bay and all surrounding, Murvagh, Rossnowlagh, Donegal bay please be extra vigilant as there has been a search for a missing male since December 29th from the Sligo area.

“Any groups who would help with a localised search could be really helpful. Sunday around 3pm is a good time. The Bundoran RNLI are helping in the search. All help greatly appreciated.”
