A valuable double for Martin Harley at Lingfield

Martin Harley recorded his fourth and fifth wins of 2018 this afternoon at Lingfield Park – including a 25/1 winner!

The Trentagh man guided the big-priced Reflector to victory in the Betway Sprint Handicap.

Harley and Reflector had just a head to spare on the 7/1 Boom The Groom, holding on for dear lift at the post in the six-furlong gallop.

The win continues Harley’s 100 per cent record with Tom Dascombe-trained horses at Lingfield.

Later in the day, Harley steered the 9/2 Karem Albaari to a win in the Betway Handicap.

Initially held up towards the rear, Harley began to make serious ground and hit the front with 100 yards to go. In the end, aboard the John Jenkins-trained 10-year-old, Harley had two lengths of an advantage to Presence Process, the 10/1 shot that finished in second.
