Get layered up once again as Donegal looks set to be hit with a new wintry blast next week.
Met Eireann have forecast snow and sleet for Monday and Tuesday, with the north and west likely to be worst-hit.
There will also be a dramatic temperature drop with a wind chill effect making it feel even colder.
This comes as a freezing blast of air moves in from the Arctic.
A forecaster said: “Early next week will become increasingly blustery and showery with showers turning wintry later on Monday into Tuesday with falls of sleet and snow increasingly more likely.
“The focus of the wintry showers will be across the north and west with some accumulations likely – but all areas will be at risk with some thunder occurring locally too.
“It will feel much colder, with maxima of only 3C to 6C but feeling even colder with an added wind chill effect.
“There will be frost and ice also, mainly for sheltered areas owing to sustained brisk winds.”
The Arctic conditions will come after what is expected to be a stormy weekend.
