A Falcarragh dog owner has made an urgent appeal to find a whelping dog to feed three newborn puppies.
The puppies were part of a litter born on Friday last, two of which have sadly died since then.
The mother is a rescue Staffie Cross who had difficulties with the birth and is unable to care for the pups.
The owners are currently hand-rearing the puppies, but as their mother cannot be near them, a foster dog is being sought to help.
The owners are appealing to any dog owners in Donegal with a whelping bitch to take in the pups. All care costs will be covered by the owners, who said they just want to see them grow safely.
