There will be Christmas cards on display all around Ireland this week showcasing the work of Cockhill boy Matthew Clifford.
The 14-year-old artist who is a member of the Cockhill Youth Club won the local and national design contest with his festive scene.
Matthew’s remarkable letterbox image was chosen from over 300 national entries to be the overall winner. The card features on Youth Work Ireland’s official Christmas Card for 2017.

“The standard this year was incredibly high, so congratulations to all category winners and thanks to everyone who entered,” a Youth Work Ireland spokesperson said.
