St Eunan’s GAA club are hosting a unique fundraising match on St Stephen’s Day in aid of the Michael McGrath fund.
The game, which gets underway at O’Donnell Park at 1pm, will see hurling played in the first half with football taking over for the second half.
The proceeds are in aid of St Eunan’s clubman Michael McGrath, who returned to Ireland this week after two weeks of treatment in Austria for stage four bowel cancer.
Michael’s story has touched the people of Donegal since the 40-year-old went public on his battle.
St Eunan’s are stepping in with their unique fundraiser.
The Clubhouse Bar will be opened after the game for a raffle and spot prizes with signed Donegal and Galway jerseys among the prizes on offer.
The club will also be hosting a road púc on the day with entry fee at €15 for adults and €5 for minors.
The “A Future for Michael’ appeal has now raised almost €155,000.
