Eddie Tinney of Tinney’s Coal & Oil and his family recently celebrated 80 years in business supplying the fuel needs of the people of Letterkenny and the surrounding areas.
At the same time they launched Supertherm – Ireland’s longest lasting and fastest growing smokeless fuel which to date has been a tremendous success.
As part of this occasion, Tinney’s Coal & Oil in association with Supertherm manufacturers CPL Fuels held a draw so one lucky customer could win 1 tonne of Supertherm.
The overall winner was announced as Ann McElhinney from Manorcunningham.
Other prize winners were:
- Brendan McCarroll, New Line Road Letterkenny who won a Microwave Oven courtesy of Crumlish Appliances
- Eric Mc Gettigan, Churchill, Letterkenny who receives a free chimney clean courtesy of Chimney Sweep
- Anne Marley, Bomany, Letterkenny, who receives a free chimney clean courtesy of Chimney Sweep
- Phil Bowen, Soloman Hill, Letterkenny who receives a free window clean courtesy of Prokleen Cleaning Specialists

A major announcement was made this week that the decision has been taken to extend the ban on smokey coal nationwide.
With the approaching cold snap, Tinney’s are offering one lucky reader the chance to win 5 free bags of Supertherm by liking and sharing this story on Donegal Daily’s Facebook here: www.facebook.com/donegaldaily.
