Kildrum Tigers reached the midway point in the Premier Division season today with a gutsy 1-0 win over Kilmacrennan – and boss Shane Brown wants his men to push on for glory in the second half of the term.
The Tigers, who were last Donegal League champions in 2001, but have a five-point lead at the top after Damian Crossan’s goal and an Andrew Wilson penalty save steered them over the line at Flagpole Park.
“We need to keep this pressure up now,” Brown said.
“That was backs to the wall stuff. Glad with the result, but not the performance. We had some very, very good chances and we should have scored.”
