Jason Quigley got an early Christmas present as his deadly right hand made a timely return to action.
The Ballybofey man has been chomping at the bit ever since he sustained a horror injury to the right paw in March.
On the way to defeating Glen Tapia and winning the NABF middleweight title, Quigley sustained the injury described as a ‘one in ten million’ blow by Los Angeles medics.
The Golden Boy Promotions middleweight had hoped to make his ring return in New York this Saturday night, but decided to put back his return date until the New Year in a bid to ensure he gets back in top condition.
Last night, Quigley trained at the Raphoe ABC – and, as he showed on Instagram, is back in the groove again.
