The Irish Red Cross are inviting victims of the Inishowen flooding to apply for discretionary grants.
The devastating floods of August 22nd prompted a global fundraising drive as people rallied to support those affected across the north west.
Flood Aid concerts, community events and kind donations came in from thousands of people at home and abroad. After a recent donation from the Donegal diaspora in the USA, the Red Cross Donegal flood appeal has now reached €135,000.
The charity has already distributed over €60,000 in cash grants to 122 people severely affected by the disaster in Donegal.
The Irish Red Cross now wishes to begin to disperse the remaining funds and have supplied forms for people to get discretionary grants. The forms will be processed and dispersed in December.
