A man is to appear in court in Letterkenny tomorrow (Tues) following a vicious assault in the town.
A man was set upon at a house at St Eunan’s Terrace off Convent Road (Back Road) last night.
The victim required extensive medical attention for his injuries.
A man was later arrested and was taken to Letterkenny Garda station.
A Garda forensic team spent most of today conducting an investigation into the scene of the alleged incident.
