Get an extra duvet on the bed and watch the frost this weekend.
Met Eireann has warned that temperatures are set to plunge across the country.
As well as a severe chill factor, the national weather watcher said there is also a risk of heavy hail, thundery showers and temperatures plunging to 0 degrees in the coming days.
Saturday morning will be bright but will also carry a lot of bite for early risers.
The spokesperson said “Tomorrow, Saturday, will be a cold, crisp and bright day with sunny spells in all areas, but increasingly blustery and showery also.
“Some of the showers will be heavy with hail, with a risk of thundery downpours, especially in Atlantic coastal counties.”
