Job Vacancies: Mantis Cranes Ireland Ltd, based in Killygordon, Co. Donegal, is currently recruiting for an Operations Manager and Field Service Engineer.
The principal activity of Mantis Cranes Ireland Ltd is the manufacture, hire & sale of self erecting cranes for the construction industry. At this time the company wish to recruit for the following roles;
Operations Manager
The operations manager will have responsibility for the day to day running of all the company’s operational activities and will oversee manufacturing, new product development from concept through to prototype and production, and provide support to both internal and external departments and customers. This role is a combination of office and workshop based activities.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- A recognised degree in Mechanical Engineering/Design
- 5 years post qualification experience with a minimum of 3 years gained within a manufacturing environment
- Be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate excellent Project Management/Planning experience
- Be self motivated and have the ability to work on your own initiative and to lead a team
Field Service Engineer
Role:
- Erect and dismantle our range of cranes on construction sites across Ireland
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance when and as required
- Work within our workshop to both service and assemble cranes as required
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a mechanical or fitter’s role
- Knowledge of PLC desirable but not essential
- Must be capable of working at heights
The successful candidate must be flexible in their approach and prepared to travel when required. Specific training related to our products will be given.
While meeting the above criteria is an advantage the company may consider candidates with less experience or someone who wishes to peruse a career as a field service engineer within the crane industry.
