Flynn’s Pharmacy Dunfanaghy was officially opened on Saturday 14th October, marking a new chapter for the town and community.
The event was a special celebration of the past, present and future as special guest Mary McAuliffe cut the ribbon of the new store.
It was poignant that Ms McAuliffe, aged 96, marked the nostalgic moment as it was her late husband Jack McAuliffe who opened the first pharmacy in Dunfanaghy in 1951.
Friends, family and the widespread community gathered at Flynn’s for an afternoon of music and fun and to wish the team good luck.
Special guest Mickey Joe Harte performed in the store, while a raffle and treats added to the celebrations. Check out the video from the day, by Michael Brennan.
