Two Donegal men scooped incredible prizes during last night’s Winning Streak!
Kieran Clarke from Lifford and Andy O’Connor from Carndonagh appeared on the RTÉ show last night after their lucky tickets were picked last week.
Kieran says that when Sinead Kennedy called out Lifford last week, he had a gut feeling that it was his ticket! Kieran spoke of how his mother Mimi has been doing charity work for the past 25 to 30 years, and around seven years ago himself and Paul also got involved in raising money for the National Council for the Blind and Breast Cancer Research.
Having travelled the world and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, he estimates that they have raised over €100,000 for great causes over the past few years.
Last night was a chance for Kieran to raise money for himself for a change – and managed to scoop a sweet €12,000 as well as a brand new Toyota Corolla worth €25,000!
Carndonagh man Andy O’Connor was also on a roll last night, coming away with a whopping €62,000 and a dream holiday to Iceland worth €3,000!
Andy’s wife Margaret and daughter Maggie accompanied him to Dublin for the show – and Andy wowed the audience when he showed off his fancy footwork on stage with Marty!
A regular of the Isle of Doagh Ballroom, dancing is Andy’s favourite hobby.
Andy, a farmer, =also loves to play the accordion. He plans on doing up the house with his winnings.
Well done Kieran and Andy!
